After sending me a Calendly link to book a 45min meeting, the guy started the meeting by letting me know that he was cutting it to 30min because he didn't think an initial meeting needed 45min. Not a great start; he could've cut it short at the end if we finished early. He was generally nonchalant and shooting from the hip, which didn't instill confidence that he would be a thoughtful partner. His reasoning for not investing was very fair but realistically, if we were raising and there was competition to get into the round, he would have lost out. Perhaps his attitude was a reflection of his interest in the product but that seems shortsighted.

Very quick and professional to deal with. They didn’t invest but explained why during the meeting, highlighting risks to our startup. On two follow ups they referred us to awesome customers we won, helping us to raise fundraising elsewhere. If you like fast talking, very direct, honest feedback and great stories this co is awesome. Took my initial meeting with a cold email! Wouldn’t hesitate to go back when/if I have a more suitable startup. Both founders are awesome IMO.
